The first rescue. A love that stays.
Molly was Susan's first rescue. Before all the other cats who would come into her care, there was Molly. She will always hold that place in Susan's heart and in the story of Furry Foundation.
On the morning of October 15, 2026, at 6:45 AM Eastern, Susan found Molly lying on the floor, not breathing. Molly had passed away.
It is heartbreaking to write these words. Molly was more than a case on a page. She was a little life who mattered, and losing her leaves a space that cannot be filled.
Thank you to everyone who cared about Molly and stood beside Susan. This page now remains as a place to remember her — not for what she needed, but for who she was: Susan's first rescue, and a life we will not forget.
